Trouble converting PAL dvd to NTSC?

I recently purchased a PAL formatted DVD by mistake. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to transfer this to NTSC so I could watch it at home. Thanks!
 
You can not change the format of the DVD from PAL to NTSC. You are going to need a universal player to play the dvd. See if you can return the DVD.
