Trying to play copy protected dvd on dvd burner?

I need to know a free software that bypasses the CSS (copy protection code)

Im not trying to burn dvds....I just want to use my laptop as a dvd player but cant cause my dvd burner has a copy protection

In XP do this
Open my computer >right click the CD/DVD ROM >properties >hardware tab >scroll the list and click the dvd rom to highlite it>click properties >dvd region. read the text and select the region. Note, if you keep changing the region it will freeze or stay put on the last entry. I think you may have four chances, I am not sure.
