Uninstalling Norton Internet Security 2008?

The subscription to NIS 2008 that came pre-installed on my comp is about to expire. I have purchased NIS 2009 to replace it. Will it be good enough to just do the regular uninstall program on the old Norton software, or will I need to download and use Norton's uninstall tool before installing the new package?

I would use the Norton uninstall tool just to be sure and then run your registry cleaner after that Norton goes all through your system the same as Nero.,

go to Control Panel uninstall NIS 2008 there then ust install it nomally

click start and find control panel and go to add/remove programs find it and click uninstall

just install NIS2009 and it will uninstall the old version automatically
