I recently took a video on my Sony Handycam. I took the dvd out and put it in my disk drive of my computer so I could upload it and e-mail it. Then I realized that I wanted to edit the video so I tried opening the file in Windows Live Movie Maker, but for some reason the file is only showing 2 seconds of the 18 minute movie.
When I play the movie in Window Media Player, it plays the entire thing, but if I click on properties it says the length is 2 seconds.
What I'm trying to find out is what went wrong here.
All I did was put the disk in the disk drive, open the containing folder and drag the folder to my Video's folder.
Not sure what to do to correct this.
