So I got a Sony blue ray player a while back, and wanted to play some videos from an external drive, USB drive and external HD. The problem is, the player wont even recognize that there is a drive. Under the video heading there is nothing. Under photos, the USB device shows up, but when I select it it tells me there are no photos. (I dont really care about the photos, im concerned about the video) At first I thought the player needed an update, however I just updated it, and it did not solve the problem. Any ideas? Am I missing something? I know the videos work, because I played them on a different blue ray player before.
