Valentine's Day Is A Stupid "Holiday"?

I dont even think it is a real holiday why do we "celebrate" it? I HATE this "holiday" so much it is not funny I dont know why we even have it I dont have a girlfriend/boyfriend so it is pointless it is pointless if I did have a boyfriend/girlfriend so why do celebrate it?

Valentine's Day is not a stupid holiday. It is just a very special day for most people. I don't know why it is a holiday though.

You have the right to feel it is "stupid" but you only feel that way because you don't have anyone to share it with, even if you did have someone it is your choice to celebrate.
I personally ask my husband not to spend the money on flowers, jewelry or other items because I don't need anything. I can't ask him to wash dishes or other house chore because he already does it.
I already know he loves me, there is nothing for him to proof by wasting money.
