Alright, so I've got a verizon motorola droid, and I'm thinking of rooting it. I've looked all over the internet and couldn't find the answers to some questions. One, is where is the best place to get trustworthy roms that won't screw up my phone? Two, can I put any rom on here such as a nexus one, or an evo? Id prefer the evo. Three, when and if I root it will I still keep all of my data or will I have to back it up? Data such as contacts, apps, call log, remembered passwords, etc, etc. And lastly, is it easy to put the phone back to normal and can I upgrade it to 2.2 from root when the official update comes out? Any help would be much appreciated.
