still won't work. Any ideas? Ever since vista service pack two, pairing bluetooth devices has become nearly impossible. With one exception, my rocketfish keyboard, which is completely impossible. I have tried installing the driver from their site. http://rocketfishproducts.com and tried the cd that came with it. It is supposed to be compatible with vista and windows 7 with the online driver. When i select it in the pairing menu it says connecting to device. It is communicating because it locks the keyboard in pairing mode until i eventually hit cancel 5 minutes later when it turned off. This shows that the devices recognize each other. All my bluetooth products are made by the same company (best buy generic) (rocketfish, and insignia). Everything works fine except the keyboard. It works on my vista sp1 computer. Anyone know what i can do?

VISTA sp2 and bluetooth keyboard issues

I have the exact same problem. Did you find a resolution?

The resolution is to go to Start - Control Panel - Bluetooth Devices (classic view) - click 'Add Bluetooth device' (assure switch on bottom of keyboard is turned on and you have pressed the Connect button so a green light is flashing on the top right of the keyboard).
Double click the Keyboard icon to pair with it. Select 'Computer provides pin'. Then use your new keyboard to type in the code on the screen and press enter. You will not see the numbers appear in a box so you may think this is not working but it will.

Best of luck.
