I just bought a new samsung blue ray play. it does not record, but once in a while I like to record a program on a disk. I don't care if it's recorded in blue ray, just that it's recorded. It does have a usb on the front of it! is there something that I can hook up to it so every once in a while I can record a program from the tv.
Yes, I know that I can't record on just a player. I guess my question is what is the best thing to use or hook up to it so I can get the recording feature? do the dvd burners conect with a usb?

You can't record anything on a device that is just a "player". If you want to buy and hook up a burner to this if you want to record.

>do the dvd burners conect with a usb<

There are burners which can connect to a computer's USn port but don't make the mistake thinking a USB port on this device is the same as a computer's USB. It isn't.

A computer USB gets its flexibility because you can load a device driver (software) on the computer to do things it would not normally be able to do. I want to see you when you realize that you can't load software on your blu-ray player.
