I don't know the whole story so I'll tell you what I know. If they caught it on their own property within reasonable measures it's perfectly fine. If they did it in say a jungle or resort which they didn't own then no. But I've seen many celebrities kill animals and eat them on their show. I think this might have been taken too seriously.
