Team A beats team B 8-0 and team C beats B 3-0, there is no goals difference. fc barcelona beats real madrid 6-2 and then 5-0. the goal difference is 9. got it? how would you find goal difference between liverpool, manchester united and stoke?
they use the same goal difference thing in two legged macthes. if real madrid was beaten by chelsea 4-3 away. there is a 1 goal difference. in the second led, real madrid would have a 3 away goals advantage. if real madrid then beat chelsea 1-0 at home, they qualify to due away goal. if you can understand that, then you might know what goal difference is.
