What are some fun DS games like Animal Crossing?

Hey. I've looked everywhere but I can't find any DS games that are longlasting and fun like Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon (but you play as a girl) or like Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy.
Currently the main ones I want right now are:

Animal Crossing: Wild World
Dragon Quest IX

A reply to a struggle

I recommend Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, otherwise I am struggling myself to find really fab games like Animal Crossing. I love it! :big laugh:
