It's very good for a prepaid phone. But I agree that 2.2 Froyo is out of date - at this point I wouldn't get a new phone that didn't have ICS 4.0 or later. But remember that it's usually not possible to get the latest tech when you are going for prepaid phones; they have to keep the costs down somehow, so that means slower and simpler hardware, and older software.
