I just bought my first bike but in NYC, I've seen too much examples of thefts --- from a missing seat, to a missing back wheel, you name it.
But I absolutely know nothing about bikes, so I was wondering if anyone knows what those things are called that you buy and put on the seat posts and side of the wheels to make it harder for people to steal? I think it's called anti theft clamps or host clamps? I'm not sure exactly what they are called so i'm having trouble finding them in store or online. If anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated.
I already bought a Kryptonite U lock and a cable lock and watched videos on how to securely lock a bike, so I think I have that down. But I still want to buy the extras just in case.
