I am about ready to explode from glossing over hundreds of football terms. Please help.
1. Forward pass play. Receiver runs towards defender and back to receive pass.
2. Player can make catch on kickoff/return kick/kick from scrimmage by raising hand before catch.
3. Players stationed behind linemen.
4. Offensive play. One back gives ball to another back to advance ball.
5. Offensive linemen and backs use their bodies to avert defensive players.
6. Offensive play. Ball is thrown towards line of scrimmage.
7. Offensive player is ahead of ball before it is snapped. 5 yard penalty.
8.Personal foul. Player throws body across the back of another player's legs when they are not carrying the ball.
