What disc do I need to burn a ripped series dvd?

So I have a series on dvd but I lost the last disc. I ripped a friend's onto my computer but the dvds I have aren't large enough to be able to burn it. What kind of disc do I need?
 
Just burn it to multiple DVDs. They generally use dual layer DVDs for more room, but it's a real pain to find a Drive that supports that.
 
could get dvdshrink - I had to do that with my missing mash disc
got rid of extra audio, fbi warning, subtitles, etc. Then reduced quality a bit (not enough to notice) and it worked with what I had (no money spent on bigger dvd+r's)
 
They make dual layer DVDs that are 9gb of storage. You probably just need to compress it using DVD Shrink or something comparable. It shrinks it to fit on a 4.7gb dvd.
