What do girls think when the guys show no interests?

Do they automatically think that guy is not into you or just playing hard to get? cos i know girls always playing hard to get, and some mates told me if you show the girl that you really like her, then she will become a bit cocky cos she knows that you like her, so better not do that and not let her know what you are think about her.
 
I would think that the guy is not into me and move on.Usually girls are the ones who play hard to get.
 
it can be either - depends how it's done. if the guy totally ignores a girl, then girls usually take it to mean that he has no interest. Otherwise, he could be playing hard to get
