okay so, i turned 18 last month, in April, and I'm trying to get my drivers license. I just don't know what to do to get it, i know you have to go to the dmv and take a written test and stuff, then later a driving test, but what's the exact process? and what papers do you need to have? i have my social security number but i lost the card, all i have is my birth certificate, do i need that?
also, i heard that you just go there, take a written test and eye exam, then schedule an appointment, and take a driving test, and they give you a temporary license, then they send you the real license in the mail a few weeks later. what exactly do you have to do?
