What does it mean when an ex-gf smiles at you, and runs over to greet you?

My ex and I haven't spoken in about a year. All of a sudden she starts talking to me again. It's weird because she said she hated my guts. Today, as soon as she saw me walk into the room, she smiled at me, and ran over to me. Does this mean she likes me again?

Also, she has a boyfriend, and she mentions him from time to time. But she has told me that she probably won't get to see him much since he's going off to college. Is she dropping me a clue of some sort?

she's dropping a clue or not; leave her alone. just a man to man respect, give the guy some peace of mind. trust me, you don't want to see yourself in his shoes. i know you haven't done wrong (yet), but the way i see it, it won't take long for you to make one. respect her as a woman and there relationship. if you do that, you'll get the respect, not just from her but from all other people.
