what happen to my GMC sierra truck?

I barely bought a truck yesterday and it turned on and everything was fine with it. As i was driving for about 35 minutes the tuck completely shut off, and didnt wanted to turn on. i put gas on it and it didnt work, so i check the battery, but that wasn't it. i towed it to my house, and it still wont turn on. does anyone now why it could be?? thankss!!

Need to know what year, motor type/size, did it make any sounds or just die? Did it sputter or chug?
