What happens if you pass the date of your library book?

What happens if you have a book, and you have to return it in June-6-2010
and you don't return it, would they pay you?
If so, how about if you bring it back June-12-10 will you NOT have to pay anymore? or would you still have to pay even though you already brought it...
 
If you return the book late, there is usually around a 10 to 25 cent fee per day. They will never pay you for returning the book though.
 
Oh they come to your house and arrest you. You didn't know that overdue books are a federal crime? Its the chair for you!
 
Well 1 day late is a fine of 1 dollar.
2 days late is a fine of 1 limb (arm or leg)...your choice.
3 days... well you don't even want to know.
and 4 is death.
