What if, as a cruel joke, you went to an isolated 3rd world country and started...

...spreading Christianity *but*..? ... but you used an altered version of the bible where the names "Jesus" and "Satan" are interchanged. The people thank "Satan" for dying on the cross for their sins and hate "Jesus" for tricking Adam and Eve and being the author of lies.

Do you think they would go to heaven?
DaveD: good point. Praise be to Satan our savior!

Is by making things up the only why that you can criticize Christianity? This question speaks FAR more about you than it does a Christian. And btw... God reads the hearts of people and knows what they truly feel. As Shakespeare wrote: "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet." It is not the name we call God that matters, but rather that we call on Him.

Jesus and Satan are just names given to the characters. Jesus isn't even the actual name; in Hebrew it is something else. Satan is not the name mentioned in the Bible either.
