What is a free program to use for transfering ipod photos from ipod to computer?

my computer crashed and i had lost all of my pictures, i had quite a few on there that i'd like to get back. I want a program that is FREE, safe and lets me get all of the pictures off of my ipod.

I have Windows Vista
and ipod classic 80 G
