What is a good player for Divx, xvid codec movies burned as data?

Right now I amusing Philips DVP3982, which has worked ok, but has to many quirks. I am looking for a new one that has pretty much the same capabilities. I would prefer to pay under 100$. Please only people who have the player they are recommending answer this. Thank you for the help.
Thanks for media player suggestions but I have around 200 DVD-RW disks and a total of probably 800-900 movies. Not to mention I am an a budget and dont want to spend 75$ if I dont have to. One day I am advancing to it, but this is for my bedroom not a living room. Plus a compatible hard drive with enough space I need for it will be at least 50-100$. Not an option. The dvd player I have now cost me 42$ which was fair.

You dont want a DVD player you want a "Media Server".

These box's have HDMI outputs and USB inputs. They are updated with codex's every few months to keep up with changing video formats (un like most DVD players)

Look up the "Roku" unit and the "Western Digital TV HD" box. They work great and you just have to write your video files to a USB flash drive or USB hard drive. Lower end media servers are about $80. Roku is coming out with new devices in a few days/weeks so chances are the current units will go on clearance sale.

HD 1080p Media player prices without network capabilities starts at around $75. Can play almost all video, music, photos that you can throw at it. However you needed a hard drive to store all those media files. You don't have to burn it on an optical disc. Just copy it on the hard drive, connect it to the media player via usb, then connect the media player to your receiver via coax, optical, or hdmi, or connect the video via component or hdmi to the HDTV.
