Everything I just looked at is either 3rd party, opened (but somehow called "New"), or also refurbished.
I tried newegg.com, amazon, some on eBay (being careful though, as a lot come from Hong Kong).
I will look at Overstock.com, but are there any other good, reliable sites that offer NEW Verizon Wireless phones (w/o contracts)? I am looking into a Droid.
