I am making jambalaya with smoked sausage and for the number of people eating I think that everyone will be able to get a serving, but it would probably be more satisfying to have something to eat along with it. Any suggestions?

Cheddar cheese/garlic biscuits. Make up some regular biscuit mix, add in 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, bake, and top with garlic butter.

cajun cornbread, asparagus, crayfish, any veggie you like will go well, black beans.

The perfect side for jambalaya is rice, in my opinion. Pretty much all cajun food goes well with rice. You could also serve it with cornbread. Hope this helps!

Whenever I make gumbo or jambalaya I usually make a side of grilled asparagus and cornbread. Gumbo and Jambalaya are so filling and flavorful on their own so you really don't want anything too complex as a side dish. I'd stick with simple and light flavors to contrast the main dishes complexity.
