What is an atheist harassing a Christian about religion and a Christian

harassing an atheist about religion? Are they both harassing or do you think the other is trying to help the other? Should the atheist leave the Christian alone and why? Should the Christian leave the atheist alone and why? Why would each consider it harassment?

Some Christians have as part of their dogma that they must "witness". I myself find proselytizing to be wrong because I believe that everyone must find their own way to what is suitable for the Self. But I do have to say I am puzzled by the vehemence shown by many Atheists in this category. What would be the purpose of trying to convince someone that you think it is stupid to have beliefs in this on-going argument that is almost the entire content of this category? I understand defending ones right to believe whatever one chooses, but simply to ridicule, Why would someone bother?

they should both leave each other alone. the atheist if he or she thinks truth must be known to further society, they ought to harass christians. if it doesnt work, just forget it. christians, i never witnessed any harassing but i assume you mean preaching the gospel. it should be but then if it doesnt work, they should move on. christians are called to love not to harass so any behavior youve witnessed, i apologize, they really want to acheive goodness but in the wrong way.

People should rightfully respect each other - in a perfect world, but alas we don't live in a perfect world.
