What is it like traveling with your husband/boyfriend in a big truck?

My boyfriend is about to start with a company driving over the road and he wants me to go with him. I am both excited and nervous at the same time. I love to travel but at the same time, I just started a new job a couple of months ago. Can anyone give me some insight on what this experience will be like if I do travel with him?
 
I think it is good and romantic in a sense, but don't quit your job over that!
 
If you can afford as a couple for you to give up your job and split the earnings on this trip 50/50 then you should go with him. There's a lot of infidelity with long haul drivers ( I got this info 1st hand) and you'll have to turn a blind eye to it if you want to travel with the boys. I'm certainly not saying that your guy would do that.
 
I did this several times with a friend. It was nice to see other places, but taking a shower at a truck stop, not having much indoor space to relax, no running water available at all times, etc., got to be a drag.

I didn't like it. But you might. You will never know til you try.
 
Well if it will cost you your own job, don't do it. However, it's a great way to really get to know each other...lots of time to talk and some fun memories to make.
