when they are doing the same? Some years back a wife and mother-to-be went missing in California and the media covered it to no end. I remember reading that, during the same time period, there were half a dozen or so missing women, in that same state, but they did not get the same coverage. I realize the news goes with trends and they want to be 'first on the scene' and sell their news, get viewership so they can make money and feed their own children, or by a bigger boat to cover up their insecurities and show off to their peers or neighbors. Recently, flipping through the channels, I see these people on TV talking about how this mother, who lost her daughter and is in jail, is trying to sell photos to help pay for her legal fees. The news people make them out to be terrible people but they are doing the same THING. They form an opinion and pass it on to viewers, convincing some to believe because they have influence over viewers. The anchors, or whatever they are, are making this jailed mother look like a bad person and going so far as to say so, when she has not been 'found guilty by a court of law', Really, though, they're doing exactly what the mother is trying to do. The mother needs to pay her legal fees and the news people need to feed their families and themselves. I realize a lot of people are this way, they say one thing and then do another; they condem someone for their actions, yet they do the same thing, but these people in the media are in the public eye and can influence a lot of people. What gives? Do you think the sleep at night, content and happy ?
