I've started a collection of movies and I was wondering what is the difference between the Anniversary Edition, Director's cut and Extended...and Where I can find a list of all the films that are under Anniversary, Extended, Director's cut...I know of one movie Superman 2 had Director's cut, Normal version, and Extended
what is the difference on Dvd's different versions and Differences?

Anniversary edition is just a dvd thats been released again
(usually has a different cover than the original, and there might be bonus stuff on there, like deleted scenes that werent on the regular dvd)
extended is usually added scenes (although not important) that are placed in the movie.
for example, in my dvd the number 23,
it was extended only and the only difference between the regular and the extended was this 2 min scene of a girl having sex with a guy in the woods while jim carrey was spying on them (she was naked).
theres really no list online that will tell you ALL of the dvds that are extended or directors cut but you CAN look up a movie that you want on amazon or barnes and noble or even under 'google shopping' to see if there are other versions.

A director's cut is a longer version of the movie. Usually directors have to edit their movies down to a more watchable length because studios think audiences don't like longer movies, also often it does make a movie better to be a lot shorter. The pacing ends up a lot better. An "Anniversary edition" DVD just means that a new DVD was put out with additional special features that weren't on the original DVD release. A "normal" version, or Theatrical version, is the version of the film shown in theatres.
