What is the general difference between JBL, Infinity, and Pioneer 6x8 speakers?

Personal preferance mostly. they have differnt sounds some play higher notes some are more bassy but all brands named are good speakers. However I do not recomend using factory stereo to push any of these speakers most factory stereos have insufficnt wattage. if you really want to make it sound nice use a aftermarket stereo you can get a nice one for about 140 bucks that plays all kinds of disks and has ipod connections this will make a huge differance in sound quality.

I plan to drive it using the standard Explorer 06 head unit. Given same size and price range, what are the distinctive sound characteristics of these three brands?
