What is the name of the author for a sci-fi time travel book called "The Flight"?

A friend of mine has recommend this book called "The Flight" but can't remember the author. All he can remember is it's a sci-fi book about time travel. The main plot is a man turns an airplane into a time machine and goes back in time. Any help would be great. Thanks :)
