What kind of wood is an Epiphone Futura Prophecy REALLY made of?

Here's the deal. I've seen these guitars in catalogs and such, but have seen conflicting information regarding the neck used for the neck and fretboard. According to Musician's Friend, the neck is maple and the fretboard ebony:

Epiphone's site however, says the neck is mahogany and the fretboard is rosewood:

Has anyone actually played these who would know what kind of wood it actually is? Ebony boards and maple necks are a selling point for me.
 
You know, I've noticed that anomoly as well.I checked out several other websites, and I got about a 50/50 difference (many websites have the same description word-for-word). Honeslty man, I would trust what the Epiphone wesite has to say more than a third-party. If it's really bothering you though, you can always call Epiphone @ 1-800-4GIBSON (1-800-444-2766) and ask them directly.
