What should I bring on my school field trip?

Ok, so in 2 or 3 weeks I'm going on my school's orchestra field trip from Las Vegas to San Diego (a 2-5 hour drive). We're leaving on a Friday in the morning and returning on that Sunday in the evening. I'm going with my bestfriend. I have two questions:

1) What should I bring on the bus to do?
*I already thought of: iPod, book, laptop, other common thinkable items, etc.

AND

2) What supplies should I bring? Like toiletrees and clothes and stuff. (It'll be spring and kinda chilly)

Being a freshman in high-school i take a lot of these trips myself. A couple things you will probably need is your ipod, a book to read listening to an ipod for 2.5 hours does get very boring, homework if you can get it done so you dont have too much when you get back, sunglass or a hat are always nessacary, some cash for emergencies as well as shopping oh and check the forecast to see if its raining then pack rain gear. Oh and of course pack your Instrument!! (Clarinet is my instrument.. i played orchestra for a while too)
