what sport bike would be best suitable for me just starting off?

I really looking for a honda i like the cbr1000rr but my friends tell me that its too heavy for me to start off with. I wou;dn't mind the cbr600rr but i want alot of power......i used to ride dirtbikes around the house and at the track but just for fun. If you could give me your advice it would be greatly appreciated.......btw i'm about 5'10" and weigh around 175 to 180, thanks

personally, i think the Yamaha FZR 600 is a good starter bike ima chick that weighs about 100 lbs and it's good for me
