I've been looking in to protective gear and I live in Georgia where it's hot hot hot in the summer. Winter not so concerned about. Does it make a difference what I wear when it's hot or not? What do you wear if you ride? Itd be really helpful if you included brands or links to products you use or know are good. This is my first bike so I'm lost.

i always wear a textile jacket. sometimes i think its better because when you sit at a stoplight and sweat, it all gets wisked away by the air once you get moving again and feels colder than if you were just wearing a t shirt

You can ride totally naked if you want, and as long as you don't fall off. Of course, if you did fall off, you'd want a bit of protection. Pavement rash hurts like the devil, and takes a long time to heal.

When the outside temperatures hit triple digits, I don't ride my motorcycle. I much prefer my air conditioned Cadillac. When I do ride, I always wear a long-sleeve jacket, jeans, boots and gloves.
