what type of car speakers to get for an suv?

I have old stock speakers and they sound terrible. I need new speakers but have no idea what to get, as I have never looked to purchase speakers. Will I need speakers for just the front, or the back too. What kind and size should I get?? ( I prefer something with good bass)

to buy speakers online i highly suggest sonicelectronix.com this has about 400 speakers. I would go to your nearsest best buy or call them up and ask them this question. But i would suggest get all 4 speakers replaced and get a new stereo deck but if not at least get the back replaced they handle more power than the front.
