What type of disc am i suppose to use to burn a dvd onto?

I have a bunch of youtube video's i posted up and it includes a lot of family, friends and funny moments. I need to burn it onto a disc so that i can play on a dvd player that i have. i know how to burn it all onto the disc, but i have to purchase the disc to use. i want to know what type of disc i am suppose to buy to burn the videos onto the disk.
so if anyone knows what type i am suppose to use please tell me. best answer gonna be given

If your gonna use it in a dvd player I would recommend buying either a dual layer dvd (8.5GB) or a single layer dvd (4.5GB). Although an ordinary CD (700mb) would do the job. It all depends of the size of your files.
