...noodles? I want to cook dinner for my boyfriend tomorrow, and we are both craving chicken flavored ramen noodles..what would be a good side dish to go along with it that also compliments the ramen noodles?

I would not call ramen noodles cooking. Some steamed broccoli would be good as their is pretty much no nutritional value in ramen noodles.

Ramen is salty, so for variety, how about something sweet, like apples and cheese, or if you get them, mandarin oranges.

You could add a few strips of boiled ham to the Ramen if you like. Even some very thinly sliced onion if you have it.

Ignoring the fact that noodles is hardly cooking :p
I would suggest making them a little better...I add egg, a bag of mixed veggies could be added, umm some left over chicken breasts can be cut up and added, and you could spice it up with some peppers or something. My boyfriend and I like to see how good we can make ramen when we don't have much else lol. Then a side dish that is normally good with them are toasted bread, not like a loaf of butternut bread but more like 'french' breads, and just a little butter-garlic butter, or olive oil, some nice seasonings, but I always like a nice fresh fruit or something in a meal. So try backed sweet bananas for a little extra desert. Don't use the super fresh ones, older ones that are starting to get brown, they taste amazing. Then just put a little brown sugar, vanilla, and butter, wrap it in foil and throw them in the oven...

I'd pour out the chicken broth, mix in frozen mixed veggies (well, not frozen anymore, cooked in micro.) and alfredo sauce and serve with garlic bread or cheesy garlic bread.

steamed veggies with very little seasoning. ramen noodles are 90% sodium and 10% flour. you need something healthy to balance
