Win7 PC connection problem? I have? How to solve this Nokia 2690 and CA-101 cable to Win7 PC connection problem?
I have done the following things to connect my Nokia 2690 to my Win7 PC through CA-101 USB cable:
(1) I have installed Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver v 7.1.34.0.
(2) I have installed Nokia PC Suite v 7.1.62.2.
(3) Physically connected my cell phone to the PC through the USB cable.
(4) Selected
Select USB Mode: (O) PC Suite.
(5) A message In the task bar "Nokia PC suite; Nokia 2690 is connected via USB cable" is shown.
Now the problem is, even though all seems to be working correctly, I cannot access anything in PC Suite GUI interface. Strangely enough, PC Suite shows the phone model 2690 but everything is disabled. That is, I can not access the phone.
What to do?
OOps! A mistake. I have installed Nokia PC Suite v 7.1.62.1. not 7.1.62.2.
