Ok, this is something that kinda grinds my gears.
People that hear music with screaming in it say things like it's
"Devil music" or something weird like that.
I really like the band The Number Twelve Looks Like You
in fact they're my favorite band.
And it really bothers me that people seem to immediately dismiss
their work just because there is screaming in it.
I feel that they aren't even giving it a chance.
I used to feel the same way about screaming music, but
I've grown to enjoy it.
So what's their problem?

It annoys a lot of people. Also, many people think of music as poetry set to instruments, and since you can't say this in poetry:

AAAARGHGHGH!!
AAAARGHH!!
YEAAAAAAAH!!!!
UH-HUHUHUHUHUHU!!!

Many feel that it isn't even music. To me, it's just annoying, but I couldn't care less if you listen to it.

Because there is no talent behind it and it pisses off artists who actually play decent music instead of screaming into a mic. I've been in a hardcore/screamo band, i play drums, and i hate the music. it is tasteless!!!

I am motivated by lyrics. When they are screamed unintelligibly, and cover up the melody, it just doesn't satisfy.

I am atheist and don't really care if you worship other deities. Just give me something I can understand.

I find the screaming to be annoying, I like songs I can sing to not scream to. But I don't discriminate people because they listen to that music. I think it takes a lot of talent and lung power to belt out those songs and a lot of the time the background music is really good. Most people are just stupid and into rap a hip hop or fake stupid new bands that are sell outs. The closest to screaming I listen to is Slayer and Pantera haha which is pretty hardcore and people are like EWW satanist. Just tell people to F**K off if they don't like your music.

you can get the same effect buy banging on trash cans and stepping on cats
