What's the best software for burning video files to DVD?

I already tried Nero and it's not working very well with Windows Vista, and I'm not sure about Roxio, I'm just hoping there's something better out there, but ideally, free and legal. Thanks for your help.
 
Try the latest version of nero. If you mean burning to a dvd disc in dvd format, then try AVS video converter to convert it to video format and then AVS disc burner to write it to a dvd.
 
if you are windows vista user, you could try DVD Creator.
it is easy-to-use and the output quality is good.
