What's the most interesting question (or topic) you've ever encountered in Astronomy?

Actually, I'm looking for a topic that my Astrophysics and Planetary Geology teacher would like. He likes the mechanisms of everything (as long as related to Astronomy). What topic would you suggest? thanks!

How about this: Removing Venus from it's orbit and replace it in Earth's orbit on opposite direction. Can we raise a life overthere before we ruin our planet completely.

Dark matter blows my friggin' mind.

No one knows what it is exactly. We just assume it's there because something is fouling up calculations.
