What's up with the Blu-Ray DVD Player automatically powering off (powersave) and...

...then I have to restart movie? Okay, this is soooooo frustrating... PLEASE HELP!!!...

We bought a Samsung blu-ray DVD player and if I put a movie on hold or stop it, the DVD after a while will automatically power off. I'm guessing this is a power-save feature. Which is fine, but when I power the DVD back up, instead of just hitting play, I have to go through all the beginning watching trailers, and fast forward to get back to the movie chapter I was in. It's almost like the DVD was ejected and put back in again. Anyone know how to fix this??? Argh!

unfortunately, i have gone thru all the menu options on the DVD player and can't find the powersave option to change. Boo hoo.

go to setting and change the powersave option from there
and also change how the DVD is handled when its stopped or ejected.
you can set it so the movie starts from beginning or the point where you left off.
