When i turn my packard bell computer on (windows xp) the screen keeps going

white when i turn it on..? Ok here is what happens, I turn my packard bell computer on and the screen is just white I need to solve this because it is really annoying, I have to turn my monitor off and on LOADS to get it to work, and restart it a lot,

if any Solutions please help.
 
try a different screen first....if the PC has onboard graphics it could be the RAM try pop it out and back in and if that's not good replace it, if you have graphics card same thing pop it out and back in and if that's not good replace it
