When I upload to youtube why does it take so long?

I know it is nothing to do with my internet connection because it will work well on my sisters laptop where she uses the same connection, it will only take her about 3 minutes to upload a six minute video but it will take me 5 hours to upload a one minute video. If anyone knows any ways to upload my videos quicker or any settings I may need to change to make the upload quicker please let me know, any replies will be appreciated.

If you have your video in high quality then it will take ages. Maybe it's your laptop/PC is it older than your sisters? Make sure flashplayers updated too mine had the same problem, but i got a new laptop.
