Where can i get a wrecked street bike for cheap? Easy 10 POINTS!!!?

hello im looking to find a nice street bike thats wrecked but easily repairable i don't want a harley i want a street bike i know theres these websites but does anyone actually win them for around 500 thats what im looking to spend maybe a little more any information would be great and any leads to help me find one will be greatly appreciated
 
craigslist should be helpful, also auctions should be held somewhere in your area, go and ask for motorcycle listings.
