Where does a car audio system(1000 rms) draw power from while driving a car?

I was looking batteries and there were different amps i didnt think it drew from the battery but mainly from the alternator....... If i get a 660 amp battery will it have any bad effects upon the car such as stalling due to such a large capacity? Thanks is a 660 amp battery worth $135 ? tHANKS

Any battery that isn't rated for your car is a bad idea. It could do more damage than you would like. Why don't you call an auto parts store and ask them the type of batteries they have in stock for your vehicle. I'm sure for a few extra bucks you could step it up to a optima red top battery thats even rated for your car
