I am in the market for a new vehicle but am on a limited budget. I was interested in getting a foreign made mid-sized SUV from the 1990's/early 2000's (e.g. Isuzu Trooper, Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Pathfinder, etc.) and was wondering which is the most reliable and would last me the longest. I'm looking for a 4WD, dependability, and $4500 or less. Please help!

1991 Chevy blazer S-10 Tahoe addition.

Simple repairs, No electronics to fail on you. And SUPER FUN.

ADDED:
That being said, Toyota does make some reliable vehicles.
Nissan I don't have any experience with however so I can't say either way.

Anything too new regardless of manufacturer (Chevy included) can be a major pain in the asss when it comes to electronic brakes, traction control, throttle, transmissions, yada-yada-yada.

I like to keep it simple and less reliant on bells and whistles.
