Both of them will break the bank for repairs. The RX7's rotary requires high maintenance, uses a lot of oil, and has expensive parts. The 3000GT on the other hand is just plain unreliable, mainly the gearbox, engine and all-wheel-drive system, which are all expensive fixes and would make it worthless to spend so much money on something that's going to break half a year down the track.
a good rx7 might be hard to find and expensive , and the 3000gt was famous for being a great car that was boring to drive , the 3000gt has a lot of things that can go wrong, the 4 wheel steering, the spoiler, little stuff like that.
ive never owned a Rotary or driven one so i don't know how they feel compared to each other.
Depends on what you want the VR4 is extremely nice, parts are both expensive on the car, RX7 is a Wankle Rotary Engine, VR4 is a turbo v6. Both are equally good in my mind, the rx7 can be turboed easily also
